Job Description:

To support our growth, we are currently seeking a Field Services Manager that will oversee a team of energy efficiency technicians delivering in home services to residential customers.  A key focus will be delivering on volume goals while creating an amazing customer experience.  This role will work with a variety of team members and program partners to help utility customers realize immediate energy savings and identify additional opportunities to participate in other utility program services. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of Field Service Technicians including providing guidance and assistance for issue resolution​.

  • Coordinate communication of regular operational updates and escalation of customer needs from field team to program staff​.

  • Hiring, training, and motivating field teams​

  • Traveling to customer sites and evaluating Field technician performance and quality.​

  • Generate, monitor, and submit reporting that tracks performance of field operations.​

  • Provide training to field team to ensure they can perform their duties effectively.​

  • Maintain all field rules and responsibilities and ensuring field staff adhere to program delivery and safety rules.​

  • Responding to all on-call tasks and supporting the field staff under your supervision.​

  • Oversee and manage distribution of inventory, including distribution to field team, defects, ordering, reconciliations etc

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in residential energy auditing, maintenance & construction

  • Minimum 2 years as a Field Operations Manager.

  • Four-year Bachelor’s Degree, or 2 year Associates degree with relevant experience

  • Currently possess, or have the ability to obtain, Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst certification

  • Ability to supervise up to multiple crews simultaneously.

  • Possess a valid drivers’ license and is insurable on the company’s policy.

  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred!

  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
